We got the backpack carrier out from Ron and Trudy on Saturday when my dad came to help me put up some bird feeders. Ryan is a tiny bit too short yet - but he was still pretty comfy in it. Grandpa carried him for a bit and then he feel fast asleep so we took him inside for a little nap.

Giving it a try!

Let's get to work!

The bird feeders are a huge hit. I only posted a photo of two of them but we put up five. We had dozens of visitors today. Thank you poppa!

Here is Ryan with his "GG" (for great grandma). She is my mom's mom and the last living grandparent on both my side of the family as well as Rob's. She just adores Ryan and keeps telling me what a good idea it was of mine to have a baby! Glad she thinks so - as it's a little late now! *smiles*

Ryan is getting some "tummy time" and Grandpa is encouraging him. Ryan doesn't seem to mind being on his stomach. He gets a little frustrated after several minutes but it sure helps when he has a buddy down there at eye level with him.

Ryan recognizes his Grandpa and Grandma now! He gives them huge smiles when he sees them!

And Grandpa let's Ryan know it's okay, spit-up happens.

Ryan is really enjoying his activity play mat! The last couple of days I pulled it out for him and he has been batting at (and even grasped and held once) the stuffed birds that are suspended. And he is talking to them! He has A LOT to say these days and is working hard to talk with us.

Precious photos, you are right they do grow so fast. I miss mine being that little.
