First Turkey
We hosted Thanksgiving this year and I made my first turkey! It was a day of delicious dining! My mom's stuffing (or dressing as we usually call it) is my favorite. My brother and I did the bulk of the shopping, my dad and brother made the pies, my dad made the gravy, my mom made the dressing, green beans, and yams, Rob peeled the potatoes, and everyone pitched in to get things on the table just in time! I've realized the food for this feast is fairly easy, it's just timing it right because so much of it (like whipping the potatoes and carving the turkey) you have to do just before you sit down to eat if you want it to be hot and taste it's best. Thank you Uncle Jack and family for joining us and helping out in the kitchen. We have so much to be Thankful for.

Pre-Thanksgiving Family Feast
My cousins, Katy and Rosie, were in town for the holiday and we gathered at our house for dinner (thank you Uncle Dennis for making an amazing dinner for all of us). It was wonderful to see them and be together.

Turning 30
We spent my 30th birthday out at Hood Canal. It was so relaxing and we had beautiful weather as well.

My turn to make a wish!

Happy Birthday Kaden!
Our nephew, Kaden, turned five on November 21 (we celebrated a day early). Rob's sister, Gloria, had a great birthday party for him complete with a homemade dinosaur cake!

"Uncle Bobby can you help me with this transformer?" Since when did they get so hard you had to get the instructions out?

Two little boys
Heather and I and our boys spent they day together shopping, lunching, and relaxing back her house. It was Ryan's first blow-out that went all the way up to his neck! Wow! Didn't even know "it" could "doo" that! Whoa...I'm still a rookie, I know! But I'm getting broken in. Here are photos of our boys.

Ryan (9 weeks) and Aidan (6 months)

Two bouncy seats? Yay! One for each of us! I love how Aidan's feet are crossed - so cute!

Love this - Aidan looking at his momma who was taking this photo.

Smiley boy and serious boy.

"Hey Aidan, can I play with some of your toys?"

"Wow! I'm almost big enough for a jumparoo!"

"And your giant swing is so relaxing. Makes me a little sleepy."
