20 weeks! Half way there!

Wow have the past five months flown by! I have a feeling the next 20 weeks (by the way that's TEN months of pregnancy! Why do they always say nine?) will go much slower...especially in the August heat!

But I am loving it so much. I feel him move throughout the day and especially after I eat or drink. It is an incredible feeling. I cannot wait to meet him!

Here is a photo of the "bump" at five months (taken at work). Rob will have to get out the camera tonight to mark this momentous occasion! This is so much fun!

Rob and Brooke

Ryan

Our oh-so-loved son, Ryan was born Sept. 18, 2008. He is personality-packed, athletic, creative, happy, and talks almost non-stop. Humming or singing wherever he goes, he loves diggers, books, working on projects with his grandpa (known as Boppa around here), tools, Curious George and his family. He is fascinated by anything that has a motor, likes to wear hats, devours fruit by the handful, rides a bike, and wants to ride a motorcycle! He brings us joy, laughter, and a new adventure every day!

Ashlyn

Our sweet (and a little bit sassy!) Ashlyn joined our family on April 14, 2010. She has a great sense of humor, is easy going about most things, but can be quite dramatic when she knows she has an audience. She is a bit of a dare devil, has a contagious laugh and has days she out-eats her brother. She has acquired the nickname "bean" and it seems fitting as she is long and very lean (...well except for some juicy thighs!). She is a pacifier addict, loves to be held, adores her big brother, and has a twinkle in her eye. We are loving having a daughter and cherish her dearly.
